If you know anything about us here at Pet Waggin’ Pet Care, you know that community engagement and support is at the core of what we do. As a small pet care business ourselves, we’ve been super concerned about our other fur-friend businesses out there in Long Beach!
Pandemic or no pandemic, your pets still have their needs to socialize, attend appointments, get their supplies, and more. And it’s been ruff getting a handle on what’s open and what’s not, or what protocols have been put in place so that everyone feels safe. That’s why we decided to do the homework for you.
We called our favorite businesses around Long Beach, got all the information you need, and put them all in one place… here! So if you need to fulfill your pet needs but are unsure of where to go, check this list and see what’s available*:
*Note: As we're sure you know, things are continually changing and being updated, so please take that into consideration when reading the below information.*

Rescues/Shelter
After temporarily closing its doors for community safety, Feline Good Social Club Cat Cafe is back in action as of Tuesday, September 1! You’ll want to keep them on your radar as you slip on your favorite mask and get ready to hit the town: they’re a cat lounge and an adoption service for all-in-one fun with kitties! Their mission is extremely important, so if you’re not ready for a feline romp in their cafe, consider donating to help keep kitties safe here.

If you leash up your pup, you can enjoy a long walk down the nearby Hellman trail at Gum Grove and enjoy 10 glorious acres!
