I am super passionate about enrichment for our pets.
Environmental enrichment helps satisfy both the physical and psychological needs of our pets and allows them to make choices. Pets that have good mental health will engage with their environment more, be less aggressive, less fearful and are more peaceful, exploratory and at ease with their surroundings. Happy pets!
As a Certified Canine Enrichment Technician, I work enrichment into all of my visits and I look forward to showing our clients how to encourage these natural behaviors in their pets.
"What is your favorite part of working with animals?"
I like working with pets because I love animals and simply being around them all day makes me happy. They are loving, compassionate and a friend to all people. Part of the joy of working with pets is giving them a service that they could not give themselves. With animals we can enjoy companionship without following social conventions; animals are straight-forward and accept us the way we are. They teach us how to be brave, loyal and faithful, to live in the moment, how to forgive and most importantly they teach us teamwork. I wouldn’t be the human I am if it weren’t for the unconditional love and companionship of pets.
"What is your #1 pet care tip or something you want to share with clients?"
If you have a cat, get a litter genie. I promise it’ll make cleaning out a cat box easier than you ever imagined.
