Working with pets is something I genuinely enjoy because of the connection and trust that naturally develops over time. Animals are honest, intuitive, and deeply responsive to care and patience, which makes every interaction feel meaningful. Being around pets brings a sense of calm and purpose, and I find it rewarding to support their well-being, comfort, and happiness. Whether it’s through daily care, play, or simply providing reassurance, working with animals feels fulfilling in a way that goes beyond routine tasks. Personally, it’s like they become a family member in my heart cause I just want the best of the best.

I am someone who values compassion and consistency, and my time working with pets has strengthened those qualities. Overall, my experiences have shaped me into a more attentive, dependable, and caring person, qualities I bring into any role involving animals.
Through my experience with pets, I’ve learned responsibility, empathy, and the importance of clear communication—both verbal and nonverbal. Animals have taught me to be observant, adaptable, and patient, especially when handling different personalities and needs.

What I like most about working for Pet Waggin is how organized and supportive the company is while still feeling personal and animal-focused. The systems and software make scheduling and communication smooth, which allows me to focus more on the pets. I also really appreciate the company values—there’s a clear emphasis on trust, reliability, and quality care. The training and ongoing support help me feel confident in my role, and it’s nice working alongside people who genuinely care about both the pets and the clients.

Pet care tip: One helpful pet care tip I’ve picked up over the years is to regularly check and clean your pet’s paws, especially after walks. Dirt, salt, or small debris can get trapped between paw pads and cause irritation or cracking over time. Wiping paws with a damp cloth and drying them well can prevent discomfort and help catch small issues early, keeping your pet more comfortable and healthy.
