I have been working with animals for 30 years. Whether rescuing, fostering, or providing parents the info they need to care for their pets for their lifetime, my career has always been rewarding. So much so that I will be attending law school for animal law in the fall.
Working with animals has taught me to not take life so seriously, to enjoy every minute because life is short. One of the most important reasons I enjoy working with animals is so I can be their voice and communicate their needs.
While in college I searched for a job where I can work with animals and have the flexibility I need. I found Pet Waggin and was pleasantly surprised not only by the structure of the company but also its values. Mary Ellen and I come from the same background, and I was inspired by her mission to leave one career behind to start another from scratch because of her love for animals. I admire her strength and dedication. I never expected to meet such wonderful clients and their amazing pets who put their trust in Pet Waggin’ and its staff. I cherish my time with the company and everything I have learned.
